Change x-default hreflang URL for homepage

Hi,

I don’t receive an answer but I still have the same issue.
For my main page https://netleaf.ca/fr/, I have a x-default hreflang but it’s not the right URL.
It’s <link rel=”alternate” href=”https://netleaf.ca/&#8221; hreflang=”x-default” /> but it suppose to be : <link rel=”alternate” href=”https://netleaf.ca/fr/&#8221; hreflang=”x-default” />
How can I change it?

Moreover, for my other pages, I’m seeing :
<link rel=”alternate” href=”https://netleaf.ca/fr/agence-seo/&#8221; hreflang=”fr” /
<link rel=”alternate” href=”https://netleaf.ca/en/seo-services/&#8221; hreflang=”en” />
but there is not a x-default for my french URL. How can I add it?

The x-default is used only for the auto-redirected page https://netleaf.ca/. All other pages have their correct language code and are accessible so the hreflang use their language code.

You disable the redirect by hiding the language code in url for the default language. In that case, the https://netleaf.ca/ will display your homepage in your default language. All your urls in your default languages wouldn’t have any language. Polylang would not use the x-default anymore.
