• Hi there

I am running S2member and recently have been using the premium version of AccessPress.

However, there is a conflict with the signup mail.

When a user signs up using accesspress, they get a welcome email via the plugin.

But if they sign-up using S2Memeber the default email does not go out by s2member.

    The error is as follows:
Conflict warning: You have another theme or plugin installed that is preventing s2Member from controlling this aspect of your installation. When the pluggable function wp_new_user_notification() is handled by another plugin, it’s not possible for s2Member to allow customization of New User Emails. This is NOT a major issue. In fact, in some cases, it might be desirable. That being said, if you DO want to use s2Member’s customization of New User Emails, you will need to deactivate one plugin at a time until this conflict warning goes away.

My question is what can i do to Acesspress to still send out mail but not have the wp_new_user_notification()conflict.

    regards
    Stef

    Thank you @shanehaden – sent!

I am also interested in this.

    When login with this plugin:
    – Admin doesn’t get the email about new user registration.
    – New user (default to subscriber role) gets an email, but with info to reset the password.

What I wrote in prev reply about Admin not receiving the email, that is incorrect. The Admin does receive the email.

But the user receives that ugly reset email. I had to customize the main file to actually send another custom email (WC new customer email).

Any chance of at least giving us a filter so we don’t have to touch the plugin core file?
