Change WordPress-URL in retrospect
-
I set up WP (and also my domain) on my host already 1,5 years ago but since then did not come back to it which I want to do now. In the meanwhile the name of my project changed and I bought a new domain, which should be ofc also visable for my visitors in the browserline.
So my host support replied to my, that I still should use my old domain where the homepage is located, as my main domain and park the new bought domain, to have a redirection to it.
The problem I have with this is, that when I go to my homepage under the new domain, the URL adress immediately changes and in the browserline is always my old domain visible.
If I go under the WP settings in my general profile, I also see under WordPress-URL my old domain, which I cannot change. Is there any solution to it?? THank you!
