Change wordpress Upload Directory

    Hello,
    I found the setting to change the upload directory of wordpress in Settings–> Media.

    Click here for the picture.

    For example if I change the default upload directory from /public_html/wp-content/uploads to /public_html/uploads/ will be able to retain the previous uploads uploaded to /public_html/wp-content/uploads.
