• Hi.
I initially selected the WP theme Talian 1.0. It installed successfully. I want to change the theme to Periodico-10. Both are in the wp theme folder but only Talian, WP Default and WP Classic appear in the dropdown menu on the Theme Editor page. My ftp site is managed via Plesk. I have checked it out but don’t see any obvious reason that would influence it.
Any help would be marvellous thank you.

  • You don’t change themes via the Theme editor, you select the theme in the Presentation panel.

Once you make that Theme active you should be able to see it in the editor. If not you may need to change the permissions on that folder. See Cahanging File Permissions.

    where is the presentation panel

Oh for the love of Christ. In the goddam Dashboard. Under Design.

thank you ?? I also am trying to install talian-10…

i downloaded the talian-10.zip theme from wordpress and then uploaded it via filemazilla to the following file:

    /wp-admin/theme-editor.php

But now I’m stuck…dreaming of what I will do with my blogsite once I graduate WP preschool and enter WP kindergarten.

    It says this:

Select theme to edit: Word Press Default
    Word Press Classic

But I don’t see Talian-10 in the mix…Anyone have a second to help a newbie? I promise to help other people if i ever figure this stuff out.

I figured it out…well host gator figured it out for me.

    Great host!!

Is it possible to change the dashboard template?

    Can you add logos?

    Thnx!
