Change what is linked to by clicking the author name

I am using wordpress SEO by Yoast to disable author and date archives, when I do that it makes clicking on author go to the homepage, I would rather it

If you say so… the issue is not with the plugin as before I had the plugin clicking on the Authors name would link to the author archives and and I would still want to change that.

But I should move it to the link you posted?

Sorry, you had the plugin do one thing and you want to change what the plugin does? ??

If it’s something you want the plugin to do then you may want to post where I suggested.

If you want to accomplish that outside of that plugin in a more generic fashion such as have a .htaccess redirection when people click on an author URL then this forum here is fine.

I want to change what clicking on the author name does plugin or not. I want it to link to https://australian-sports-betting-guide.com.au/founders-blog/ or perhaps not be a link at all.

Lets leave it here for now and if no help is forthcoming after I while I will try on the plugin’s forum.
