• We created a subdomain on our website site to organize the podcast… when a user click on “website link” it goes to the podcast website… can we direct them to our main website? without the subdomain. I’m not sure how to achieve this.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi there, thanks for the message. Could you explain a bit more about what you’re looking to achieve? If it’s a matter of navigation items then yes you can create a custom URL type nav item from the Menu tab in WP. This would either take visitors from https://www.ashevchenko.org to podcast.ashevchenko.org, or vice versa.

Is that what you’re trying to do?

    Hey… sorry…

When a user visits the feed (in itunes or the web), https://podcast.ashevchenko.org/feed/podcast/sermons the “visit podcast website” link is technically correct, but we want to direct users to the main website… https://ashevchenko.org

Is that possible? Thank you in advance.

Hmm, this isn’t currently something we’re able to do via our podcast feed settings. iTunes reads the URL of your podcast site which is something that’s not configurable via Seriously Simple Podcasting because we assume that it will always be the website that your podcast feed is coming from (your WordPress site).

Sorry I can’t be of more help, but aside from hard coding a URL in the plugin code there’s no easy way to do this.
