Is it possible to change the accuweather gif icons to svgs maybe? Or anything custom for that matter? Would want to do that because the gifs appear pixelated on non white background divs.

On some threads under this plugin, it is mentioned about replacing the files in the folder /wp-content/plugins/wp-forecast/icons with the new files desired. Would this not mean that when the plugin is updated to the latest version, these new updated files which were uploaded will be lost and the one that the update brings will take effect?

    Here’s what I did:

    1. Installed an older version of the plugin.
    2. Replaced the icon files with new ones.
    3. Updated the plugin with the new version.

The new icon files which were added are now gone. How to make this change persistent?

    hello vagu71,

thanks for your request. At the moment the icons will be overwritten with every update. What about a possibility to change the drectory the icons are stored?

wp-forecast supports gif, jpg and png icons. I am not sure about svg but can add the possibility to support the foramt.

If you have an interesting and free icon set, I would be interested. ??
