Change vote with like button for every image or problem with dynamic ip

    Hello! I am running a photo contest with nextgen voting, but i have a problem. Some of the voters have dynamic IPs and are messing up the contest and I can’t do anything to block that range of IPs(no option here)
    Instead, I want to replace the voting mechanism with the facebook like button for every image. How can i do that?

    You cannot.
    The voting buttons are mostly links, and it would require a rewrite of the entire voting engine to be able to include extra data.
    I have it on the list of things to investigate, because a few people have suggested it, but I don’t know if I will be able to re-work all the existing code to support it.

    following up on this post. Using the premium version of NGG is it possible to put images that have more than 60 likes in the best images gallery as following : (Also can use this layout with NGG? )

    I’m not sure I completely understand what you are asking? The Premium plugin won’t automatically be able to move images around galleries. The plugin does allow you to order images inside a gallery by the current voting averages though.

    cool, I can then manually add the high rated likes to a specific gallery.

    How about a registered user, can he/she keep track of images he/she likes to be shown on their profile ?

    The plugin can’t do that, but I like that idea. I will add this to my list of things to consider in future versions.

    Hi Shauno, I am using the premium version of the plugin and for some reason the like button replaces the image title/description. Could you let me know how I can fix this. I would like to put the name of the image above the thumbnail if possible. Thanks!
