We are based in the UK.

I’ve searched these forums, tried to add to wp_config.php (LANG), checked the settings in WordPress > General, checked all the WooCommerce settings but no-where can I see a simple way to adjust the text that appears in the green pop up whenever I select something to add to the BASKET.

    It says VIEW CART.

Do I really have to create an entire localisation configuration for one word? There must be an easier way, surely.

    Help!

  • If I go to:
    Dashboard > Settings > General
and set the site language to “English (UK)”, I get “basket” instead of “cart”.

    “English (United States)” gives “cart”.

    No need to edit wp_config.wp.

If you want to have “English (United States)” but just change “cart”, you can use the Say What? plugin. Its handy for changing the odd word.

    to make text replacements.

When setting up text replacements, the original string is exactly what you get with English (United States), the domain is woocommerce and the context is usually left blank.

    Thank you @lorro

I checked the Dashboard > Settings > General – it says English (UK).

I installed the Say What? plugin.
I had tried this before but couldn’t (from their instructions) figure out what the settings should be.

I used it as you advised and it works!

    Sorted, thank you!!
