Change View at Breakpoints

Is there a way to change the view you are in (Month, List, Day) depending on the width of the screen?

We have a JS error we are debugging which prevents month view working correctly with our custom theme at mobile sizes. I found a php from the modern tribe site to change the view from Month to List when it detects its a mobile device and that works but for desktop screen sizes at the same size it stays

So essential I want to know its possible to change views at breakpoints.
