Change username

There are a lot of technical reasons (i.e., a legacy of a giant house of cards) that prevent a change in user name. It just can’t be done.

Oh, I will have to accept that username then.

We can’t change usernames. If you want to make a new account and transfer your plugin to that account, and then abandon this one, you can do that instead. It’s the history that cannot be transferred to a new username, basically. The SVN history, the Trac history, these are tied to the username which is why we cannot change it.
