Change User role when completing first order

Hi,

I’m after a way to change a user role from “Customer” to “Custom_Role” when the customer makes a purchase from the site.

I want this only to apply when the current role is “Customer” so shop managers and admins are unaffected etc.

Does anyone have some customer code to do this?
