• One of my authors needs to change his email addess.

He changed it in his profile.

There is now a message that says:
“There is a pending change of your e-mail to [email protected].”

When/how is this change going to happen? No verification mail has been sent. Is it normally done?

    Thanks
    Peter

No, it’s not. Try deactivating all your plugins to see if one of them is causing the problem.

    Sorry… I was unclear…

is a verification mail normally sent out?

If so could a conflicting plugin be the problem. (I am Actually working from a Sandbox setup)

    Thanks

Did you,as admin, checked if there’s an Unverified (or something like that) option under Users (your-site/wp-admin/users.php) in order to approve the email adress change?
If i recall right, this is not a normal WP behaviour.A user changes his email adress, svaes the settings (under his profile) and that’s it.
