    Hi!
I’ve searched for the answer to my question before posting, the problem is that I always get plugins dealing with user role administration, which is not exactly what I’m looking for.

I have a site and gave another user (the company the site’s for) the Author role. I want this user to be able to change the contents of the site, which includes maps, galleries and so on. The problem is that some plug-ins just don’t appear in the menu for the user, and if I copy/paste the plugins URL in the browser I get the following message:

You do not have sufficient permissions to access this admin page.

Examples for plugins I have this problem with are Huge IT portfolio and WP Google Maps. Is there a line of code in the plugins’ files where I can change who has access to it?

Thanks in advance for your help ??

    DanCrewger,

I think rather than having to get into the changing the coding, may I recommend a plugin that I use frequently on client sites.

It is called Advanced Access Manger and certainly worth taking a look at for what you are trying to accomplish without a lot of coding headaches and worries.
