Change URI to URL

Yes there is, but why would you want to do that?

Some guys seem to think URI is some sort of typo.

people post the trackback uri in the uri fieldset on my blog. maybe we can simplify it to web address!

Well when people mouse over URI on my blog, it tells them what URI stands for.

Lots of people are just more familiar with URL, and feel more comfortable with it, I guess ??

so…how do you change it?

Or you can create your own “translation” using the localization files. That way you don’t have to touch the source.

I too would like to change URI to URL. I got a comment asking me what URI meant and I couldn’t respond because I had never heard of it. So, it’s obviously a problem for non-teckies!

Anybody any know how it can be changed?
