Change typography settings

    Is there a way to control the typography settings including size, font & color inside the WP-Forge customizer for default text, header tags, etc.?

    I can only find a way to change the size of the header tags but not the color or font settings of these tags or anything else.

    Or does this need to be done in the CSS?

    Hey there,

    Long time no see. Yes you can do it via the customizer Appearance > Content Settings > Post Configuration.

    Anything having to do with colors is located in the color section.

    Yep – finally getting this site ramped up and about to relaunch under a new brand.

    Ok, I swear I looked at the color section before messaging. Clearly, I missed it!

    Actually, one more question. Is there a way to change the default font?

    I can’t find that either. My preference would be for the Google font Open Sans, but I’m not married to that.

    No there is no way to change the default font via the customizer and um Open Sans is the default font for WP-Forge. Look at the demo page here https://themeawesome.com/themes/wpforge/ and view the page source and you’ll see the following:

    <link rel="stylesheet" id="opensans-css" href="//fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans%3A300%2C700&ver=6.4" type="text/css" media="all"/>

    And if you want to change the default font you can read this tutorial I wrote on how to do that:

    WoooHooo good work amigo, in my new theme you will be able to select any font you want from the customizer. That’s one feature I wish I was able to add to WP-Forge.
