The twitter post is published on the Twitter account of the author of the WordPress post.

But we want it to be published on the Twitter account of the WordPress website.
For the corresponding Twitter account we have set up the Twitter application.

    Thanks for any help.

  • As per Twitter docs,

If you are going to be developing with Twitter for your company, then twitter recommend that you apply for an ‘organization’ account using your company’s Twitter handle. If your company’s engineering team uses Twitter apps for work related to the company that aren’t owned by this company’s Twitter handle, we suggest for you to transfer those Twitter apps over to the company’s account. You can do so by applying to transfer app ownership.

Please make sure that the app belongs to your company/business/WordPress website account and the Access token secret and Access token you are using is also regenerated using the company account at https://developer.twitter.com/en/apps/.
    Hope this helps.
    Thank you.

The Twitter app belongs to the account of our organization.
How can I change the settings that WordPress posts are not using the Author twitter account, but the Twitter handle of our organization?
    Thanks

If transfer of app (https://help.twitter.com/forms/platform) and creating new access token and access token secret for the organization do not work then, please
Login to the twitter account of the organization and create a new twitter app and generate the Access token and Access token secret and update the plugin settings with the new twitter app details.
    Hope this helps.

Yes, this helped! Created new token and now the right twitter account is used.
    Thanks a lot!
