• Hi,

i’ve just 2 questions about translations and date format:

    1. Is there a way to to make translations “update save”? I’ve changed the .po file and saved it in wp-content/languages/plugins/bookingup-de_DE.po. But nothing happens. Only changes in the .po file under wp-content/plugins/booking-ultra-pro/languages/bookingup-de_DE.po are working. But these changes would be overwritten every time the plugin receives an update, right?

    2. How can i change the date format to the “right” format here in Germany? Like shown in this screenshot:

    Cheers from Germany

  • Hello Mario,

We’re sorry about the late reply.

    1. Actually, we’re working on it. The next version will include a function that will allow you to upload the translation files in your theme’s folder, that way you can keep the translation
    2. You can do it on BUP Settings, there you will find a way to change the date format. Besides, you can control the date format via WP Settings.

I hope that helps a few.

    Thanks for your reply!

    1. Ok, i’m young. I can wait. ??

    2. I know, but in the BUP date settings the available formats are not correct for Gregorian Calendar and German as language. In WP settings the date format is set correct. The BUP seems to use the own settings. Thats why i was asking how to change it (in which php file).

    Cheers
    Mario

    Hey Mario,

We’re no ignoring you. We’re adding the format you need in the new version ASAP.

It should be ready within few hours.

You don’t mean version 1.0.52 right? Because there is no new date format available.

    Cheers

    Hello Mario,
same problem here. I’ve done a workaround by myself by changing the values in all files of the module. Replace all
    d/m/Y with d.m.Y and dd/mm/yy with dd.mm.yy

I’ve done that for example locally with Sublime Texteditor or Notepad++ (there you can easy replace in all files and have not to open every file seperatly) and then uploaded all to the server via ftp.

Bad thing, by the next update you must do that again.

    Greeting from Munich,
    Peter
