Change title of the thumbnail

How to change title of the gallery thumbnail? I need to modify titles of the gallery images after upload. When I upload gallery images titles was generated from photos file names. Now I wish to modify all titles. I mean text which visitor of gallery page can see when gallery image is on hover. How to accomplish it ?
