• All,

I’m trying to change the title of an RSS feed on my site SolidVerbal.com. I have two podcast feeds:

    1. One that serves up all the enclosures that are posted to the site (https://www.solidverbal.com/?feed=podcast)
    2. One that just serves up the enclosures from one category (https://www.solidverbal.com/category/video/postgame-tailgate/feed/)

The second feed is titled “The Solid Verbal: Living College Football ? The Postgame Tailgate” and, basically, I just want to get rid of the “The Solid Verbal: Living College Football ?” portion of the title… it should just say “The Postgame Tailgate” when I look at the title.

I’m pretty sure the way to do this is by editing a line or two in the feeds-rss2.php file, and I’ve tried doing that, but I can’t quite get it to work the way I want.

Need to get this working sooner rather than later, so any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

  • You are using podPress and if you go to Posts > Categories and you edit the category “The Postgame Tailgate” then you can find among the podPress Category Casting options one with the name “Blog/Podcast title”. Choose “Use Category Name” and the feed title will be the category name only.

ps: I have not discovered that post earlier because it has not the tag podpress.
