I’m trying to use a Google Font for the “Main Title” in the header. I’ve tried 5 different plugins and while most of them work they all end up being UN-SCALABLE. In other words the header doesn’t scale down nicely as it does with the “Original Font”. I’ve tried for hours doing this by hand implementing Google Fonts making various alterations to both the css and function.php. Nothing changed. I tried photoshoping a full header image with the title, but it doesn’t scale very well on mobile devices. So a image logo is out. How can I change the font AND make sure it’s scaling just like the original? Anybody else do this? I so need to finish this yesterday. Any help would be appreciated. ??

  • Try the the plugin called “Font” or “Fonts for Web”. Using FFW, I’m able to change Font Type/Size and so forth–it runs a little wonky, but I managed to get it to do what I needed it to do.//CL

    Hi JennyJJ222,

Irregardless of what font you’re using, the size of the logo font should be decreased at certain screen widths. You would probably have to make some other changes to the .blog-title a element though, such as removing the text-transform and letterspacing attributes, for it to look nice in other fonts. You can do so by installing a custom CSS plugin and adding the changes there.
