Hello, I’m using WooCommerce on this site to allow visitors to select free samples and now I’m adding a subdomain with a shop. To make it really clear that the shop and main site offer different carts it’d be awesome to change the word ‘item/items’ on the main site to ‘sample/samples’. Is that easy to do?

    Thank you!

Hey, no worries. I found where to change it – in the ‘Create HTML for menu cart item’ section of the wp-menu-cart.php. Seems to be working okay.

First of all, apologies for the late response.
Glad to hear you found a solution, Deborah!

An alternative that doesn’t require any modification of core plugin files (which would be overwritten by plugin updates), the Pro version allows you to change this directly from the plugin settings.

Let us know if you have any other questions and I’d be more than happy to help!
