Change the way Widgets work

  • Hi,

    If Widgets don’t work the way I am describing I applogize.

    At this point, widgets are hardcoded into you template right? Well I mean, when you add or move a widget it changes the code in the template. So if I have 50 widgets in template 1, and i want to use template 2, i have to re-add and re-order all of my widgets….

    Can’t this be done in a new php file or database so templates are not changed? Ofcourse the templates need to be changed in order to use widgets, but i mean it will get the widgets and their order of appearance from the db or the new php file…

    If it already works that way, delete this post ??
