Change the Title of the Site on Google

  • This is my first WordPress site, so this question might be stupid (apologies in advance).

    When I search for my website on Google, the title of the site is “Whitehat Copycat Review”. (the site is https://www.whitehatcopycatreview.org if you want to see)

    I would like to change the lable to read “Whitehat Copycat: Comprehensive Review and Killer Bonus”. I have it labeled as such in WordPress . . . am I missing something? (OK, obviously I am. . .I guess the question should be “What am I missing?”)

  • How long ago did you change it in WordPress? Google sometimes won’t crawl your page for updates for weeks, or even months.

    Also…do you have a sitemap submitted to Google? It seems like it will crawl more often if you submit one.

    That’s what I would assume. Give it a bit to reindex your page.
