    Thanks for getting in touch.

    I’m afraid styling changes are outside the scope of this plugin. This plugin introduces html remarkably similar to the WordPress default search form, so most downloaded themes should have decent style rules that work with the html introduced. Then again, there are exceptions, but it remains the case that any changes to background colour, text colour, etc., are the responsibility of the theme and the appropriate style rules for your site should be introduced there.

    I’m marking this as not a support question as the issues raised are not a responsibility of the plugin. However, if you find you are having other difficulties concerning this plugin in future, please don’t hesitate to get in contact.
