Change the Starting order number

    hi

    we want to change the order numbers moving forward, we have the plugin installed already and used it to start all new orders from 111222333 (for example) and it worked, we have never disabled the plugin.

    We now find we need to reset the starting order number to 333111222 can we just type this in and save. And then all orders moving forward will be sequential from this starting point?

    it will not affect our historical orders

    Hi @wood1e,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    To reset the starting order number to 333111222, simply add it in the “Start number” field. The next number generated will start from the saved number. It’s important to note that if a number has already been generated previously, the sequential number for that will be skipped. Our plugin saves the previously generated number and follows an incremental count.
