change the site width

  • I tried to change the site width from 1100px to 1320px through setting 1320 to the site width field in the basic design section. The change failed.

    I examined the actual site width using developer tool for Chrome. It is 1240px. I tried a few site width cases and all failed.

    I am wondering if the site width might be determined based on the display monitor width. Is it true or wrong?

    If wrong, please teach me how to change the site width.

    WordPress: 6.3.1
    SWELL: 2.7.8.3
    PHP: 8.1.20
