Change The Post/Blog page to a full width page

Hi again –

I replied to one of your previous posts. From the editor, do you see the page options available?

For some reason they don’t show up on the posts page or the shop page, but they show up on every other page.

I’ve been looking at the CSS to figure out how we can expand that page for you to get the desired look.

Do you want both the post content area and the site navigation area to match up in width?

Or did you only want to expand one or the other?

In order to add the CSS you’ll need to enable the module on the Jetpack plugin. At the moment there looks to be some issues with your plugin connection.

Try disabling and reinstalling the plugin as a first step. Then run it through that debug link again and see if any errors persist.

I just want the navigation bar to be extended and the page content to follow suit with that. That way the shopping cart doesn’t appear under the rest of the pages and is on the right hand side like it is in the rest of the pages. I’ll try this and see what happens. Thanks!!

I deactivated, deleted, and reinstalled. It looks like the error is still showing up. Not sure why….

I do have custom CSS though via the jetpack plugin.

Removing the padding on .site-content will help.

Unfortunately all the padding did is expand the alignment of the text. It didn’t fix the issue with the cart being under all the other pages and the text not extending to the full length of the main navigation bar.
