Change the number posts listed on a category page

    I can’t find a way to edit the number of posts which display on a (archive) page. The default is eight, but if you have three columns and nine items, it looks as though there are only 8 (unless you notice the tiny – and wrongly named – “Older posts” link below).
    Could it be done with CSS?
