Change the number of posts in a feed

  • Whenever I change the number of post in a feed, the feed does not update. I would like to display every post, or at least a very large number. Is this possible?

  • Yeah I’ve got the same problem with my blog. I’ve tried going to Dashboard -> Settings -> Reading then change “Syndication feeds show the most recent” to 50 but when I subscribe to it, in my Google Reader it still only shows the most recent 10 posts. And I’ve already cleared my cache.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    1) Which address did you use to configure the RSS reader? Was it something along the lines of either of the following?:

    (1)  " http : // www SITE com /comments/feed "

or 

    (2)  " http : // feeds SITE com /SITEcomment "

    The first one should work, unless it gets automatically redirected to the second!

    The second might not work because feedburner has its own parameter that control the number of items!
