Change the notification “from field” setting

    Hello,

    The updater plugin is working great – it’s a real time saver ??

    Can you please tell me exactly *where* it gets information from when it automatically fills in the “from” field (using [email protected])?

    Because often when wordpress is cloned or copied, the PREVIOUS domain sticks, which makes it incorrect.

    I know I can manually change it each time, But I want to be sure it’s not extracting this information from elsewhere, (other than it’s own database tables) so that I may be sure things are accurate.

    Hi,

    By default, recipient’s email is taken from “Recipient email address (To:)” option which is located on the plugin settings page (“Settings” tab). If the option is empty, the address is taken from “Email Address” option which is specified in Dashboard > Settings > General.
