Hi, I want to change the name order for customers in WooCommerce on the Dashboard because I am using WordPress for both Japanese and English sites with Polylang Pro.

Currently, customer names are ordered with the first name first and the family name second. However, I want to change it so that the family name comes first and the first name comes second.

The order page in WooCommerce on the Dashboard already displays the customer names in the desired order. Additionally, as we use Stripe for payments, the names of customers in the Stripe Dashboard currently reflect the order set in WooCommerce, with the first name coming first and the family name coming second. I would like to reverse this order.

I would appreciate it if you could guide me on how to change the name order for customers in WooCommerce on the Dashboard and ensure that the change is reflected in Stripe as well.

  • Hey there, @shozoon! Thanks for contacting us.

You might be able to achieve this by adding custom code to the website.

Please note that we can’t provide support for code customization as per our support policy. Still, if you need customization, we do our best to offer advice and direct you to appropriate resources.

You can visit the WooCommerce Facebook group or the #developers channel of the WooCommerce Community Slack. We’re lucky to have a great community of open-source developers for WooCommerce, and many of our developers hang out there too.

I’m going to leave it open for a bit to see if anyone is able to chime in and help you out further.

    Have a wonderful day!
