Change the layout on the homepage

  • I can’t change the layout on the homepage. How can I do?

    I have a game site to play online. I made a main category called Games and categories are subcategories.

    But your layout was different if I used a static page.

    The graphics were nice and divided into categories. Unfortunately I had the demo categories except one of my own. Now I only see recent posts. Should I create a static page and name it games and remove the Games category?

    Hello @ildomandatore

    You need to select the template to showcase the widgets on homepage for that you need to edit the page that you are using as homepage and select the homepage as a template. Please check the screenshot for help:

    Also make sure you have used the static page to same page you have set template homepage.

    I added your scrollable image widgets.

    Why are the cursors missing when the page loads? Seeing a long list of vertical images? Subsequently the vertical images become sliders.

    How to add links to titles of each slider? For example Action Games should be linked to the Action category.

    Hello @ildomandatore

    For that you need to use our inbuilt theme widget so that you can use the link in block title as well. This feature is not available in the plugin that you are using.

    There is link on your slider title. So we are confused what you are looking for.

    There are various free & pro slider plugins that may allows you to create slider you can also try that and contact plugin author related to plugin for further assistance.
