Is there a solution to the label names issue that I’m having? I’d be happy to manually change them if it is possible.

    Hey there,

Thanks for posting! The field labels that appear on your plugin’s signup form should actually be taken from the field labels you have set in your MailChimp account. If you’re seeing a discrepancy, it’s possible that your plugin’s signup form settings may not be up-to-date.

To update this, go to your WordPress admin area and go to your plugin’s settings. From there, click the ‘update list’ button to update all of the field labels and other list settings. You should begin to see those up-to-date fields labels appear on your signup forms.

Let me know if you have any further questions!

The reason why I posted is because the labels are not updating even after clicking ‘update-list’. Unfortunately your suggestion wasn’t helpful.

Is there anyway to manually update the fields to match?

    Hey Mediapod,

That definitely sounds a bit odd. Any chance you would be able to provide me a link to your site with the signup form? If you’re not comfortable posting that here, you can email me the link directly at mailchimptk[at]gmail.com.

As far as manually updating the fields to match, the best bet alternative would be to utilize the MailChimp embed code, rather than the plugin form, which will allow you to edit the code of the labels directly for each form field on your list.

    Look forward to hearing back.
