Change the header pic with slider?

I did it!!! The right code is:

Please, are there more ‘beginner level’instructions available for replacing the header picture with a slider ? I have not managed to do this based on the info above and have finally given up ??

I reverted everything to the original demo files and have activated the moto press slider plugin. Could you tell me the steps i should follow from there to replace the header image with a full width slider using the motopress plugin?

Thank you for your question. I’ll do my best to create a child theme with all modifications so you will just need to put shortcode of your slider. I’ll update this topic soon.

You will need to edit the following file \palmeria-child\template-parts\content-front-page.php

Find demo-slider-1 in the file and replace it with your slider alias. You may learn it alias within settings of the slider.

Would you help me out guys? I installed the plugin but whenever I put the code in the front page it always put the slider under the featured image, I want the slider to replace the featured image.

I installed the child theme and made the edit on code before I installed it and it’s now installed with the parent theme but still no slider I don’t know why
