• Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone knew where WordPress gets it’s base date from. I have checked the forums but have not found what I am specifically looking for.

What I am looking to do is change the global date to a future date. I am assuming that WordPress get’s the current date from the web server’s system date/time. What I am looking to do is take that call and modify it to add 1000 years. So that all dates and times within my WordPress instance will show a date 1000 years plus the current date. I have seen the pluggin Blogging in the Future (not sure of the name) that lets you modify the “post” date to a future date. But, I would like all of WordPress to change, so that all comments and calendars etc show the modified date.

    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you.
