Change the From and name in the incoming emails

  • Hello,
    Im trying to change the name and from in the outgoing email. i’m in the Message tab and change it but still shows something diferent. It’s there a way to change the from of the emails?

    Estoy tratando de cambiar el remitete y nombre en los correos que le llegan al usuario, pero no esta fucnionanado desde el tab de mensajes. sale es con el remitente del cual cree la cuenta del gmail. y necesitoq ue tenga otro nombre y remitente es eso posible?

    It sounds like there are two possibilities:

    1. The checkbox “Prevent plugins and themes from changing this” is not checked in the Post SMTP Message settings, so WordPress (or whatever plugin is sending the email) is overwriting the from address set in the Post SMTP configuration. How to fix this would depend on what functionality is sending the email.
    2. The checkbox “Prevent plugins and themes from changing this” is checked, so something else is going on.

    Do one of these two possibilities apply to your situation?

    hi Kratos, i have the checkbox selected and still sending ‘from’ my old admin email address. Not the new address I have changed my admin from or the address I enetered in post smtp fields
