    Hi, thanks for your great Plugin!
    I have POPUP-Widget. I added some CSS to change the flag in the wrapper. I want the Austria flag (AU) instead of Germany flag (DE). Attention please: Austria not Australia ! Thx !

    I tried this code:

    .gt_switcher_wrapper alt_flags {“de”:”https://cdn.gtranslate.net/flags/svg/countries/au.sv/”}

    But this didn′t work. Can you help me please?

    Thank you in advance,
    Best regards,
    Wolfgang.

    Hi,

    You cannot do it via CSS. Also if you just change the flag file, it will revert on next update.

    So I suggest you to use our Website Translator Widget instead of using GTranslate plugin.

    You can get our widget from https://gtranslate.io/website-translator-widget and then add this specific code to change the flag for German:

    You will have something like this:

    <div class="gtranslate_wrapper"></div>
    <script>window.gtranslateSettings = {"default_language":"en","languages":["en","de","it","fy","hi","ta"],"wrapper_selector":".gtranslate_wrapper","alt_flags":{"de":"https://cdn.gtranslate.net/flags/svg/countries/at.svg"}}</script>
    <script src="https://cdn.gtranslate.net/widgets/latest/popup.js" defer></script>

    You can place it on your website manually and then add any CSS customizations somewhere in your CSS files or inside a separate <style> tag.

    Please note that you cannot use this in parallel with the GTranslate plugin.

    Thanks! ??
