Change the default product name with rules

  • Hi
    I just want to change the default product name , because your plugin take the product name in the product title, and my product title isn’t optimised for shopping.

    So I just add a rule like this :
    IF [PRODUCT_NAME] CONTAINS “SOMETHING IN MY PRODUCT TITLE” [CS CHECKED] THEN [PRODUCT_NAME] IS “PRODUCT NAME THAT I WANT TO SEE IN GOOGLE SHOPPING”

    But the product name doesn’t change, i didn’t understand.

    Another question is, why when I change the description mapping to short description and manualy refresh the product feed, this show still the old description and not the new “short description” that have to be shown?

    Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

    With regards to your questions:

    • Can you make a screenshot of the rule you created so we can test this ourselves?
    • When your product short description isn’t showing your feed probably did not update or you are looking at an old cached version of your feed. Did you make sure to clear up all caching? (browser and 3th party caching plugins too)
