Change the color

Hai friends,

I have a problem in my customizr theme. If I change the color of header or footer, it will change automatically to the default color. i.e; I change the color of the header to blue using CUSTOM CSS editor. Then i tried to change the color of footer to black, the color of the header disappear and goes to default color. How to solve this problem?
