    Hi Dianne,

Can you please open an issue here with the information you described above?

What you’re describing is currently not possible, but I’m not against the idea.

The currently available URL options are as follows:

    1. “always” – creates the [PubMed] links and surrounds any url text with anchor tags to make them clickable.
    2. “URLs” – just surrounds anchor tags.
    3. “never” – never creates links.

I might be able to break the “always” option into something along the lines of:

    • “always – subtle” — same as currently implemented
    • “always – full surround” — how you are describing

We’ll chat more about it on the other issue page.

Thanks for the suggestion. Marking this thread as resolved since I don’t handle issues here.

Ok, thanks for your fast response!

I’ve tried many footnote/citations plugins and Academic Blogger’s Toolkit is by far the best. Just my 2 cents ??
