change text in footer

  • I need to change the copyright text in the footer. How can I do that? I don’t want it removed, just want to change the text.

  • Check out Footer.php of your theme.
    Use a child theme, so you don’t lose changes after you update the theme.

    @louise82 : Unfortunately this feature only available on Plus version.

    you can do these steps to changes on footer

    Click the Editor link on the Appearance section of the navigation to the left. Edit the Footer WordPress the right hand side, click the Footer link to edit the footstep page. Find the code WordPress the code that displays the footer text at the bottom. The image to the right shows what the code looks like in the “Twenty Twelve” theme..
