Change text in checkout and account page

    Hi! Im new to woocommerce, using it with elementor pro to sell my courses. I wonder how you can edit all text on the checkout page and account page. As my homepage is in a different language I have to edit them all, as well as delete some that does not apply for me. With Elementor pro I can only edit some. I found a solution with Loco Translate but according to elementor this is not a good solution. Can anyone help? Im sure its possible with shortcode, but no expert in this..

    Thanks for reaching out.

    To edit the text on your WooCommerce checkout and account pages, you have a couple of options. I will list the most common below:

    1. You can use a translation plugin like this one or this. These plugins allow you to translate your entire site, including WooCommerce pages.
    2. You can also use a plugin like ‘Say What?‘ which allows you to change specific strings of text on your site.
    3. If you’re comfortable with code, you can use a filter hook in your theme’s functions.php file to change specific text strings.

    Please note that while Elementor Pro does allow for some customization, it does not have full control over WooCommerce pages.

    As for shortcodes, WooCommerce does provide a list of shortcodes that you can use to customize your store, but these primarily affect layout and functionality rather than text.

    Hi Ckadenge!

    Thank you so much for taking the time to answer and help me! After some studying I think TranslatePress is a good option, and for now it seems to work perfectly. And thank you for the tips about the shortcodes, to change some of the appearence elementor can’t reach..
