Change text for field and/or remove it?

Using the sandbox, how can I be sure that the thank you email will only include pertinent sections, e.g. I don’t have funds or the option for recurring donations.

Just send yourself some test emails. Mark yourself as the donor and donatee.

Thanks for getting back with me. I’m sure I’m missing something but if I send myself test emails, they’re not attached to a specific donation so all the fields show. If I do a sandbox donation, then the emails aren’t sent to a real address.

Ah, yeah, I see what you mean. I control my domain name, so I can make email forward properly to any email address. But if you use something like gmail, that’s not as easy to do.

I haven’t dug into the code for the email subsystem at all. Right now, the best idea might be to make a small $1 donation on the live site and see what happens. I think the fields will only be the ones you specify.
