    My recent Asgaros forum has an enhanced text editor due to a couple of third party plugins. Because of this when select , e.g. paragraphs you can only see the options when hovering. Can I change either the background color or the button from white to say, black?

    Hello @malaser

    Usually such styling-issues are caused by themes. Which theme and which editor-plugins are you using?

    My Theme is Senses Pro.
    You are correct, the color options in it have no effect on the Asgaros problem since Twenty Nineteen does it properly with the same installed text plugins. Classic and Tiny MCE Advanced
    However Twenty Nineteen is a bit light on in features so I am looking about for a basic theme that provides the capability of displaying an image in a Banner and doesn’t have the problem this topic is about.

    Hello again @malaser

    I am not sure if it helps, but you can try to add the following code to Forum – Appearance – Custom CSS:

    .mce-text {
        color: #444 !important;
    }

    Maybe it fixes the color-issue caused by the theme.

    Thanks for your reply and although I no longer need it I will test it under the Senses theme.
    I looked about for a FREE theme that would work and lucked in with a nice one on my third try.
    Should anyone want to try it for any other incompatibility issue with their current theme, look up and do a live review using HESTIA
