• Hi,
    I created a new page template that doesn’t have a header and footer. The template works fine except on the homepage. When applied to the homepage, the new template is simply ignored.
    What am I doing wrong?
    Thanks!

  • In Settings > Reading is your front page sent to show that specific page?

    you may want to copy that template as front-page.php as that will become the default home page template.

    @sterndata Thanks, that’s helpful.
    I’d also like to make the text size adapt to the viewport size. Do you know how that can be accomplished?
    And I’d also like the text to be vertically centered to the screen. Can I do that in front-page.php or is it CSS?

    Thanks, sterndata. Any ideas how to do this? The text size doesn’t seem to really resize if I use % and if I use vw it shows incredibly small on mobiles.

    I use Page Builder by SiteOrigin for building the homepage, so I guess the rows will have to be vertically centered. Here’s my page https://www.travelersuniverse.com/

    I don’t really know where to begin ??
