    Hello,

Thank you for a great plugin!

By default, products are included in the tag <product> in the feeds, and then I am able to set custom attributes.

However, in one of the feeds I have to change this tag <product> to <item> in my XML file.

    How can I do it?

    Sincerely,

  • Hi ortoteka,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. Unfortunately it is not possible to change the root XML node yourself.

For which channel do you require to make this change? Do you have their feed-requirements so we might be able to add a default template for it in our plugin?

    All the best,
    Eva

    Hello Eva,

Thank you for your very fast reply!

Here is the XML file specification: https://www.salidzini.lv/shops_info.php#xml

This price comparison website is highly popular in Latvia (even No. 1, I think) but remains local. Please let me know if can clarify anything further for you.

    Kind regards,

    Hello @ortoteka ,

I also faced this problem few days ago and I started to use the plugin from https://webappick.com/plugin/woocommerce-product-feed-pro/ .

The plugin has all the features that you need. Give it a try.

    Hi ortoteka,

Thanks for sending over the requirements for Salidzini.lv. I am happy to let you know we have just pushed out a new release of the plugin (version 4.3.0) that has the Salidzini.lv template in it.

Just download the latest version of the plugin. Deactivate it (do not delete it) and re-activate it. Once you did and you select ‘Latvia’ when creating a new product feed you should be seeing this.

Let me know if this worked out for you.

    All the best,
    Eva
