Change table press layout

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

Unfortunately, I’m not available for such customizations at the moment, but you could try this yourself:
Setting up a table like that should not be a problem, that’s basic functionality. For the search/filtering, you could then take a look at the TablePress Extension from https://tablepress.org/extensions/datatables-columnfilterwidgets/
That will however only add the dropdows not the regular input fields. For that, you need a custom solution based on the DataTablses API function.

I would love to, but unfortunately, I can’t recommend freelancers, as I have never worked with one ?? Sorry.

I suggest to first start on this yourself. You should be able to get the basic functionality by installing that extra Extension and modifying the Shortcode.

Aww, i forget to share you my test site with data. I want to create the company list sort by Alphabet, so my solution is create 7 tables – one table has 4 characters. The layout now being separating, not good looking. That’s why i want to display the list as the demo page.

I’m really love your plugin because it has everything option which i need. Now only one trouble is the layout. Anyways thank you so much.

to get such an alphabetical list to click on, you could actually use another TablePress Extension.
Just install https://tablepress.org/downloads/extensions/tablepress-datatables-alphabetsearch.zip and activate it as a new plugin. Then, extend the used Shortcode to

[table id=123 datatables_alphabetsearch=true /]

are you sure that you changed the Shortcode? The Extension is indeed activate, but the JS is not loaded, which indicates that the Shortcode was not yet updated on this page.

can you maybe create that screenshot again after switching from the “Visual” to the “Text” editor? I have the feeling that there are some extra characters in there, due to the copy/paste.

To remove the search box and the buttons, just uncheck the “Search/Filter” and “Pagination” checkboxes on the “Edit” screen of the table.
