change switcher display

  • Hi Takayuki,
    Thanks for this great plugin.
    How can I edit the language switcher that appears on the pages? For now it displays “[flag] English (United States)” and “[flag] French (France)”. I wanted something more discreet, like “en” and “fr”.

    English
    French
    …

    I really would like to avoid flags and do find the country indication more confusing then helpful – ie I don’t think many will build multiple English versions (USA, England, Canada, Australia, etc.).
    Please make this available by a setting or option.

    Hi,
    i had the same problem, you can change the language name in the functions.php file of bogo plugin.

    For the flag, it’s the background of the li element. You can overwrite that in CSS

    (maybe you’ll had to put it as !important )
